Ignatieff has all the answers

As a teacher, I try to do everything that I can so that I can encourage my students to come up with the answers themselves. As my mentor from my student-teaching days said: "You want to be a guide on the side, not a sage on the stage."

Apparently, the intellectual hasn't figured that out yet. Note the Liberal approach of telling us ignorant Canadians what the answer really is.

"Ignatieff says after four years of Stephen Harper as prime minister, Canadians should ask themselves the question: "Are we better off than we were four years ago?"

He says the answer is no."

I guess if he says so.

Ignatieff asks: Are we better off now than 4 years ago?

The answer is YES:

Flaherty Welcomes Earlier Tax Freedom Day
OTTAWA – June 6, 2009 – The Honourable Jim Flaherty, Minister of Finance, was pleased to welcome Tax Freedom Day today, as it occurs three days earlier in 2009 than in 2008. Calculated each year by the Fraser Institute, Tax Freedom Day marks the day to which the average Canadian had to work to pay their total tax bill. In 2009, the Fraser Institute has calculated that Tax Freedom Day is today—June 6th. In 2008, Tax Freedom Day fell on June 9th.

Didn't someone propose the CPC ask that question? 'Are we better off than 4 years ago?' Looks like the LPC is reading us! But of course, we have that interesting like blog thing going, with that report that slammed the libloggers. But I believe the purpose of the question is to leave it hanging. Let the voters decide if it is so.

But then again, this is the LPC we are talking about, they know the voters can't remember 4 years ago anyways, and need their natural governing ability to help them overcome the burden of critical thought.

'Micheal Ignatieff. Thinking big thoughts so you don't have to'

Its free, LPC, take it if you wish.

So Iggy is now recycling slogans from the US Republican party of 30 years ago. I thought the Liberals patterned themselves as the followers of Obama, not Reagan.

Iggy says much - ado about nothing - slogans , spin, ass kicking ala war room trough slurpers
If the MSM continues to play to this drivel - they prove their bias
We are MUCH better off - some sane foreign policy, some senators committed to reform, sound management of the treasury (no adscam here), military rejuvenation, push for justice reform , tax relief etc - list is endless

Iggy sees progress as adding days to the tax freedom day tally and not reducing them. (real conservative)

There are so many MSM trying to help Ignegative with his platform that it makes me want to upchuck.

Time and again, they have tried to tell him what to say, but he does not feel it, as he really only wants to be an international diplomat like his daddy. He does not really want to run the largest company in Canada, as he is a spotlight person who wants name and prestige over anything!

Unfortunately, some (dad always voted Lib) people swallow this pablum.

Let's spread NO MORE good ideas on these blogs, as his nerfs read them.

I am :-), Everyone in my family is :-), but I have a friend who got screwed in a divorce who isn't, so I guess the conservatives are to blame for that.
